Feb 072013HEB Coupons and Deals (2/6 – 2/12)

Here are the best deals I spotted at HEB this week. Also, many of you email me to ask which store I shop. I rotate between several different ones.

And some sad news, HEB will no longer allow you to stack a yellow in-store “B” coupon with a manufacturer coupon. They say this is because they are rolling out digital coupons. We’ll have to see but the new policy states no more stacking. 🙁

Please keep in mind that HEB prices can vary slightly by region. I can’t promise that you will find these exact deals but they should be pretty close. Also, HEB can be difficult about printable coupons sometimes. I usually have the items that correspond to printable coupons scanned last and I give the cashier my printable coupons first. That way if they won’t take them, it’s easy to void the item.

  1. Last year while shopping at HEB, I had a few items that had both a manufacturer’s coupon from the paper and a yellow “in-store” coupon. At check out, I was told that the yellow “in-store” coupons WERE manufacturers’ coupons, and couldn’t be used together. I was like, “Whaaaa??? Then why do they say ‘in-store?!'”

    • Last year you could stack a Yellow in-store coupon and a manufacturer coupon only if the yellow coupon had a “B” in the lower left corner. Those were store coupons. Most of the yellow coupons have an “M” in the lower left corner which indicates that the coupon is a manufacturer coupon and those are not stackable. HEB negotiates coupons and discounts with manufacturers and most of the time these are passed along to the shopper in the form of a yellow in-store manufacturer coupon. New this year (2013), HEB does not allow stacking for any type of coupons: B or M. One coupon per item now. 🙁
