May 252011Randalls (Safeway) Coupon Deals (5/25 – 5/31)

Finally! A decent week at Safeway affiliates. I’ll be shopping this week for several of these deals – especially the Blue Bell Ice Cream! Also, I noticed there are a fair amount of regional differences in the ads this time. Normally they are really close but not this week. You Texans should be fine but for those of you elsewhere, double check your local ad before you shop to make sure your prices are the same. Some of the BOGOs may not be BOGO in your area.

My store triples coupons up to $.39 and doubles up to $.50. It will only multiply one like coupon and does not accept coupons on free items. This was taken into consideration when doing the matchup. New to shopping at Safeway? Read about changes to their coupon policy.

Most of these deals should be valid at all Safeway affiliates (Carrs, Dominick’s, Genuardi’s, Pavilions, Randalls, Tom Thumb, Safeway, and Vons) but be sure to check your local ad.

  1. Rebecca says:

My Safeway…its a Randalls…will not take b1g1 internet printables, so hot pockets deal is a no go here in TX!

    • Oh that’s too bad! I know some stores are cracking down on internet printables. If you happen to be in a different neighborhood, you might try a different store. I know they vary on their policy slightly.

  2. Rebecca,
I go to Randalls here in Austin, and they do take my BOGO coupons internet printables , as long as it says a maximum value (example: up to $3.50). If you are aving trouble, and live in Austin, go to the one in the Arboretum. They take great care of me!

  3. Cindy T says:

    Shellie,

That’s great to know. That’s my closest Randall’s, too. Now, when you say your Randall’s does something in particular, I know that “mine” does it, too. :O)

Thanks for all the hard work you put into this. It’s greatly appreciated!

  4. My store (Tom Thumb) in Fort Worth, TX has Ritz crackers b1g1. I wonder if the price on these is as nice as the other crackers…

    • D’Ann I thought the same thing! I was hoping that the two sales would overlap and that Ritz Crackers would be BOGO at $1.67. I checked the sizes on both promos and they overlap but I have a feeling that Safeway outsmarted us and excluded Ritz from the $1.67 sale. Worth a look though, just in case.

  5. Jack Daniels BBQ sauce was priced at my store for .99 and I used the .55 off 1 coupon from the 5/22 Smartsource which doubled to .99 to get them for FREE 🙂

    • Wow your Randalls doubles coupons that are more than $0.51? Awesome! Where is this?

      • Stores in the Northwest will only double a certain amount of coupons, like 10. But you can choose which ones you want to double, like the larger value ones. Also, in AZ, all coupons are worth $1. Don’t get too jealous. Some regions like CA don’t get double coupons at all!

  6. Shellie,

Do our stores here in Austin (Brodie, or Wm Cannon & Mopac) have Just4u? w/card coupons can you stack a paper manufact. q w/those just4 u q’s? Example there is a $2 J4u q. Can you stack that w/a .75 off paper q?

    • We don’t have Just4U yet. You can load them but I don’t think they come off reliably. And no, you can’t stack. It will automatically take the highest coupon. This stinks when it comes to doubles though. Because it might take a $.75 Just4U instead of a $.50 paper coupon that will double.
